Hay diferentes partes del campo de golf, que debemos conocer para nuestro conocimiento básico. Cada campo de golf en el mundo tiene diferentes longitudes y dimensiones. Cada campo tiene una serie de 9 o 18 hoyos, cada hoyo del campo incluye el tee, fairway, green, rough, bunkers y áreas de penalización (obstáculos de agua). En este artículo discutiremos sobre algunas partes importantes del campo de golf. Lo que puede ayudarlo a comprender mejor las partes de los campos de golf.
1. Parte básica del campo de golf:
1. Los agujeros :-
El objetivo principal del juego es meter la bola en el hoyo, una vez que consigas meter la bola en el hoyo, terminarás el partido. El hoyo es una de las partes básicas importantes del golf, porque el factor importante por el que se juega al golf es el hoyo.
A golf course usually consists of nine or 18 holes. Each hole will have a par, par is nothing but it's the number of shots on which you should get your ball into the hole. A golf hole generally comes in four varieties:
Par-3: Casi 250 yardas para hombres y 210 yardas para mujeres.
par 4: 251 a 470 yardas para hombres y 211 a 400 yardas para mujeres.

2. Partes principales de los campos de golf:
1. "Teeing area" The starting area of the golf course :-
En todo el campo de golf, el lugar particular desde donde un golfista golpea por primera vez, ese lugar se denomina área de salida. Es la serie de puntos de partida del hoyo. Tiene un tamaño y una forma definidos.
Es un rectángulo de dos palos-de largo de profundidad, y los lados delantero, izquierdo y derecho están indicados por los marcadores del tee. Hay diferentes colores de marcadores para diferentes agujeros. Un campo de golf puede tener tres o más de tres áreas de salida por hoyo. El área de salida también se llama caja de salida. En el área de salida, se le permite colocar su bola en el tee, lo que significa que puede mantener su bola en la parte superior del tee y golpearla desde el suelo. Así es como comienza el juego desde el área de salida.
2. "Fairways" Parts of a golf course between tee and green:-
Fairway is the path which connects the teeing area and the putting green. Actually it's the area between the tee box and the green. In fairway the grasses are trimmed very short but not as putting green.
En los campos de hoyos par 4 y par 5, el objetivo del primer golpe está en la calle evitando los roughs o bunkers. Para que puedas tener golpes fáciles desde la calle hasta el hoyo. Porque en comparación con el rough y los bunkers, encuentras buenas condiciones de juego en la calle para tu tiro posterior.
3. "Roughs" Areas on a golf course with tall grasses :-
In the course the roughs are positioned in either sides of the fairways or around the greens. Roughs are the area's, which have a thicker and taller grasses than the fairways. And in many courses the roughs are left natural and unkempt.
Lo que hace que sea más difícil para ti hacer buenos tiros en esta área. Entonces, cada golfista intenta golpear su bola en la calle desde el tee de salida, y si fallará el tiro y terminará en bruto. Entonces serás castigado por tu error, es decir: tienes que encontrar tus bolas en los pastos más altos o tienes que golpear tu próximo tiro desde el lugar inadecuado. 4. "Hazards" Toughest obstacles encountered on golf courses :-
In the golf the most difficult obstacles you have to face, that is hazards. Hazards are of two types:- 1. The water hazards or penalty area's. 2. The man – made bunkers.
RA tiene reglas especiales para los obstáculos, si la bola cae en los obstáculos. El jugador no puede tocar el suelo o la pelota con sus palos, ni siquiera para el swing de práctica. El jugador tiene que golpear una bola desde su posición original, donde estaba en el obstáculo. Y si un jugador no es capaz de golpear la bola desde los obstáculos, entonces tiene que golpear una bola desde la otra ubicación con un golpe de penalización.
Búnkeres
Puedes ver bunkers a cualquier lado del campo de golf. En medio de la calle o pegado hacia el green o la calle. Los bunkers son los hoyos ahuecados en curso, que generalmente se rellenan con las partículas finas de arena, piedras y otras partículas finas similares.
The factor which makes it one of the toughest obstacle is it's size. Their are different sized bunkers in different courses mainly of 100, 250 and 1000 square feet. It can be in any shape like the kidney shapes, the circles or many others. It's depth is 10 to 15 feet below the surface of ground.
Áreas de penalti

But after the update of official rules in 2020 it's known as penalty stroke. It's because once you get your ball in the water hazards, their is no other option than taking a penalty stroke. The different types of penalty area's that you can see in the golf courses are ponds, lakes, streams, creeks, rivers, ditches etc.
5. "putting greens" Smoothest areas of the golf courses :-
La zona final de la jugada es el putting green, ya que en los greens se encuentran los hoyos por donde tienes que meter las bolas. Los pastos de los greens se recortan muy cortos. De hecho, los greens tienen los pastos más cortos de todo el campo de golf.
Debido a que los greenes están especialmente diseñados para el putt, es una zona llana de césped suave. En los greens, el astabandera muestra la ubicación de los hoyos. Y por lo tanto, los campos de par 3 son pequeños, su objetivo es golpear el green con su primer golpe. Los greens son las mejores áreas de práctica para los principiantes, porque tienes muchas ventajas en los greens.
3. Area's other than major parts of the golf courses:
Other than tee box, fairways, roughs, hazards and the greens, you can see many other areas in course. This areas are the golf cart paths and the out bound areas. Since this areas are not used to play the games, and so this areas are not counted as the major areas. But this areas are also that important as the major parts. let's have a look on them.

So that the players can quickly cover the distance and can easily get their ball to play their next shot. In the course their are specific areas or the paths for this carts to ride. Same like the traffic rules, this carts also needs to follow some rules in the course. The carts are allowed to ride in the specific identified area's, and the area's where the carts are drawn are known as the golf cart paths.
2. Out bound area's :-
In the golf course you are not going to play the game in the whole course but you have some limited areas. Other than the playing areas their are many areas in golf course. "Out bound areas" are one of such areas, this area's are often outside the golf course itself.
The outbound areas are marked by the white stakes or a white line on the ground, and the playing area's are inside this marked lines. If your ball goes out of the bound area's than you to take a 1-stoke penalty, and again you have to hit your ball from the original position.
3. Additional area's of the golf courses:
The area's which we have discussed above you can see that area's in each and every golf courses. A golf course is the combination of all this parts of the area's. But according to design and the facilities you can see many additional areas in different courses this areas are the driving range areas, practice area's, starter's shack, restrooms etc.
You can't see all this area's in only one golf course because this area's are not that important for courses. So it's not sure that you are going to get or not all this area's in your nearby golf course.
